Understanding and see the effect of negligence on generational impact!!!

"His real name is Divine ikubor...
In year 2014 he came in contact with a guy named Prince Emmanuel during a church programme - they were both fifteen years old at the time...
One thing strengthened their bond - it was their love for music...
Soon after, the two young lads both formed a duo and they began to chase their dreams together...
Their love for God caused them to focus on making gospel songs...
Divine Ikubor who had a knowledge of the power of God's word decided to adopt the stage name called 'Rhema' which simply means "The spoken word of God"...
Princewill Emmanuel went by the name 'Alpha-T'...
They both took part in the Dream alive talent hunt show with picolo in 2014 and they both came out as winners...
In that same year, they released a duo track that trended locally in Benin City titled "Mercy"...

They were young lads with great potentials heading towards stardom...
Channels TV even did a short documentary on both of them...
But guess what???
Why these two young stars were coming up with great potentials, no body in the church took it upon themselves to invest in them...
There weren't any Christian record label that was willing to sign them...
A secular producer by the name Don Jazzy quickly took cognisance of them and spotted the great potentials in them...
While the church they attended at the time kept telling them "God-will-take-you-far", the devil was making his moves to help them fulfil that prophecy in a negative way...

Don Jazzy quickly signed the one that went by the name Rhema...
He rebranded him as REMA... The 'H' was erased from the name...
He gave him a multi million naira record deal and quickly started harnessing his potentials...
Today, that same young lad is the REMA of Marvin record that is reigning today...
Incase you didn't know before now, the guy started in church as a gospel singer...
We refused to invest in his gifts and we lost him to the world...

Today, a talent that ought to be used to glorify God now glorifies sex.
As long as we lack Christian investors in the music ministry, we will keep losing our talented young folks to the world...
Man of God, why spend hundreds of thousands of naira inviting a 'big' gospel artiste to your programme when that money can be invested in the local talents within your church and make them become big???
As long as we keep neglecting the talents within our assemblies, the devil will keep harnessing their potentials on our behalf...
We may have lost REMA, let's not lose another.
