I am expressing my heartfelt felicitations to every jigawans on the occasion of 28th anniversary
On this auspicious occasion of the 28th Anniversary of Jigawa State.I am happy and deem it a great honor to be able to send this Message of Greetings to the great people of Jigawa . Our state as a young state has stood tall amidst the states of this country which has firm historical roots since time immemorial with its own diversity have settled down and lived together through weal or woe.
I want to charge every jigawans to make this year team as “Building sustainable and resilient communities through rainforestation and climate-smart agriculture”
The above is very much timely because more than ever, we recognize the need to adopt innovative reforestation initiatives in order to attain much needed
ecosystem services as well as to provide benefits to forest-dependent communities, thus, increasing their resilience; and the need to embrace new innovations in agriculture to ensure food security, thereby contributing to the country’s aim of empowering communities.We live in a fertile and fecund environment that if we utilise it prospectively , jigawa can be like Brazil , Thailand or india in terms of agricultural production.
May The mercy of Allah continue to reign in jigawa state may we continue to live in peace ,prosperity and polyphonic environment
