Gov. Abubakar Atiku Bagudu on a Project Tour to Dodoru Market in Gwandu LGA


Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu this Tuesday visited Dodoru Market in Gwandu Local Government, pleading to construct modern motor park, rehabilitation of market stall as well as Animal Market, known as Kara with access road.

 A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Abubakar Mu’azu Dakingari says Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu interact with hundreds of traders assuring them of support and encouragement to enhance commercial activities in the market.

 He was however unhappy about lack of parking space and access road at the market which has been creating unnecessary traffic hold ups and mishap.

 The traders expressed joy about the visit of the Governor and thanked him for his support and assistance to various groups and associations aimed at improving the economic wellbeing of the people.

 They requested for the provision of parking space for vehicles to avoid overcrowding and congestion.

 Elsewhere, the Governor paid a condolence visit to Dogondaji, Sokoto State to condole with the family of Hajiya Yelwa Yusuf who died on Monday in a road accident along Bakura-Sokoto road at the age of 74.

 The Governor prayed Allah to grant her Aljannah Firdausi and the family fortitude to bear the loss.

 One of her children Ghazzali Yusuf prayed Allah to reward Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu accordingly.

 Among her children are Hajiya Balkisu Yusuf, Hajiya Zainabu Yusuf and Hajiya Nafisa Yusuf.
